| Founded over thirty years ago by David Collins and
Evelyn Witter, the Midwest Writing Center offers opportunities for writers
and readers alike throughout the Quad Cities region. This online site serves
as an information gateway to literary events and writing resources
throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois, with services for emerging and
established writers. |

We met our endowment fund grant challenge! Thanks so much to all of you who supported this effort. We will continue to raise money for our endowment fund which will enable us to continue to provide quality programming at low or no cost. Essential Job Functions Require: · Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs · High level of organizational skills · Solid communication skills-both verbal and written · Ability to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers · Strong customer service skills · Interest in the literary arts preferred Expected work schedule: Regular operating hours of 11:00-6:00 Wednesday through Saturday. Some flexibility in hours including evenings may be needed for special events.
